AIMS OF THE PROJECT

 1. Know, identify and understand the causes of environmental problems that affect our planet: climate change, pollution, extinction of species, deforestation and loss of biodiversity.

  • Conduct training workshops related to recycling, pollution, deforestation, loss of biodiversity, climate change and renewable energy​​

  • Know the protected areas of the project partner countries.

  • Know good practices that are carried out in partner schools to collaborate with the protection of environment.

​

2. Raise awareness and acquire good practices for the protection and improvement of the environment.

​

  • Understand the importance of recycling and caring for the environment through activities and attitudes responsible

  • Promote activities that contribute to the fight against climate change, pollution, extinction of species, deforestation and loss of biodiversity.

  • Create materials that promote environmental care.

  • Carry out activities in nature that respect the environment as a means of enjoyment and promotion of healthy habits.

3. Internationalize education in schools through collaboration with other countries within the framework of eTwinning and Erasmus + community.

​

  • Enable collaborative work and exchange of experiences of partner schools related to the educational innovation through environmental education.

  • Work collaboratively, both within the classroom and with the European partners participating in the project.

​

4. Respect and preserve European cultural heritage.

​

  • Learn and value the importance of the natural, social and cultural environment of the country itself and other countries European.

  • Facilitate interaction, communication and cultural exchange between project partners.

E-TWINNING

Our Erasmus project is based on an eTwinning project that started last year. The students received a letter and a video from Albus Dumbledore inviting them to join the Hogwarts School of Magic. To become magicians they would have to overcome 5 challenges.

For the choice of the project logo, the students of the 4 schools created and submitted their drawings to the competition. Being elected by vote, this one from Greece:
